Innermost Secrets provides a full range of medical services including diagnostic ultrasound for both pregnant and non-pregnant women.

Where we are and what we do

The service is based at the Spire Hospital in Cardiff and is directed by two Consultants who work full time in the NHS in the fields of Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Maternal and Fetal Medicine. The service is also provided Dr Tony Griffiths and Dr Kiron Bhal, also full time NHS Consultants, who are specialists in Infertility and Urogynaecology.

All ultrasonographers hold the Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent and also work within the NHS performing obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound scans.

The ultrasound equipment used is the Voluson Expert 730 BT05, which is one of the most sophisticated state of the art ultrasound machines in the Principality providing transabdominal and transvaginal diagnostic 2D ultrasound scans, 3D and 4D Baby Bonding ultrasound scans.

Innermost Living

Innermost Living is our new division offering a range of services such as Sexual Health Screening for Sexually Transmitted diseases on a single urine sample, the Biological Body Clock Test to assess future fertility, Ovarian Cancer Screening and Obesity and Reductil treatment.

Innermost Secrets is a founder member of the BUMPS UK Network www.bumps-uk.net which was set up to ensure quality assured obstetric ultrasound and medical care for pregnant and non pregnant women. The principles of the BUMPS Network are endorsed by Antenatal Results and Choices (ARC) www.arc-uk.org and the Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) www.clapa.com.
